(i) Safeguarding National Interests Representing and protecting Malaysia’s interests and positions on international platforms while demonstrating the country’s commitment to international cooperation in the tourism sector.

(ii) Capacity Building and Benchmarking Adopting international best practices, particularly in sustainable tourism, digitalisation, and crisis management, while ensuring that Malaysia’s tourism practices are aligned with international standards.

(iii) Strengthening Promotion and Investment Promoting Malaysia’s tourism products and services, expanding strategic partnerships, and attracting investment opportunities through engagement with governments, international organisations, and industry stakeholders.
