Malaysia Tourism Quality Assurance (MyTQA)
Introduction

Malaysia Tourism Quality Assurance (MyTQA) is an initiative by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) to enhance service standards and the quality of facilities provided by tourism products in Malaysia.

The programme provides recognition to tourism products and encourages tourism industry players to place greater emphasis on the quality of the services they provide.

MyTQA aims to increase tourist confidence and ensure that the quality of tourism products remains at the highest possible standard in meeting the needs of both domestic and international tourists.

Objectives
  • To establish an accreditation or certification programme as a reference mechanism for domestic and international tourists regarding the quality of tourism products in Malaysia.
  • To cultivate a continuous quality-focused culture among tourism industry operators.
  • To improve the quality of tourism products in Malaysia and the standard of services offered.
  • To increase tourist confidence in tourism products that have received MyTQA recognition.
