The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) has officially revoked the business license of Al Aisy Travel & Tour Sdn. Bhd., effective March 31, 2026. This stern action follows the company’s failure to secure accommodation, transport, and return flight tickets, which left 36 Umrah pilgrims stranded in Madinah. Such failures violate the Tourism Industry Act 1992, as they compromise public interest and damage the industry’s integrity.
