INTRODUCTION
Please be informed that UNESCO, through the Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO (SKUM), is inviting interested parties to participate in the World Heritage Volunteers (WHV) Campaign 2024 – Working on the Future. This program involves the implementation of non-profit, youth-led activities related to World Heritage Sites and properties inscribed on the Tentative List.
PREREQUISITES BY THE MALAYSIAN NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR UNESCO (SKUM)
The Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO (SKUM) has established several essential prerequisites as follows:

Interested parties who have not previously participated in WHV programs must submit two (2) letters of support from recognized institutions.

Interested parties are required to notify SKUM of their intended participation for coordination purposes.

SKUM highly recommends that interested parties seek guidance and support from the respective heritage site managers to ensure the smooth execution of program activities.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The official closing date for participation is 16 February 2024. However, applicants who require a support letter from SKUM must submit their application and relevant documents to the SKUM email address at bha@moe.gov.my before 12 February 2024 (Monday).
