Possess a valid passport or travel document to enter Malaysia.

Possess a valid visa (for nationals of countries that require a visa to enter Malaysia).

Able to explain their personal background and purpose of visit, and fully cooperate by producing relevant supporting documents throughout the immigration screening process.

Not listed in the Immigration Department’s Suspect List and the Stolen and Lost Travel Documents (SLTD) database.

Not classified as an prohibited or undesirable migrant.

Not a Social Visit Pass (PLS) holder attempting to re-enter the country immediately due to the imminent expiration of their previous pass (commonly referred to as a “u-turn”).

Possess proof of accommodation booking or confirmed lodging arrangements for the duration of the stay in Malaysia.

Possess a valid return ticket to their home country or an onward ticket to a next destination country.
