CULTURAL SECTOR SUPPORT GRANT (GSSK) 2026

INTRODUCTION & OBJECTIVE

  • Introduction: A government initiative to revitalize arts, culture, and heritage programs/activities/events in Malaysia. This grant acts as a supporting incentive and is not a full funding coverage for organizers.

  • Objective: * To provide financial assistance and support to local organizers/practitioners across various levels.

    • To boost the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VM2026) campaign through high-impact local arts and cultural events.

APPLICATION WINDOW

  • First Phase: 12 January – 31 March 2026

  • Second Phase: 2 June – 28 August 2026

  • *Or subject to the current remaining allocation budget.

  • Maximum Funding Ceiling: RM300,000.00

APPLICATION METHOD

  1. Online: Applicants must apply online via the E-Insentif portal at https://e-insentif.motac.gov.my/ or through the main MOTAC website at https://www.motac.gov.my/.

  2. Hardcopy Submission: One physical printed copy of the application must be sent within ten (10) days to the secretariat address below.

CRITICAL REMINDERS

  • Applicants must read and fully understand the GSSK 2026 Guidelines before creating an application.

  • Event execution after 31 December 2026 is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

  • Applications for programs that are currently ongoing or already completed will not be considered.

  • No program/activity is allowed to take place until the official Letter of Acceptance (SST) has been issued by MOTAC.
