AMENDMENT TO ACCIDENT REPORTING PROCEDURES FOR MOTAC LICENSEES

Amendment to Accident Reporting Procedures for MOTAC Licensees

Please be informed that effective from 21 May 2026 , an important amendment has been made regarding the Obligation to Report Accidents under the Tourism Commissioner Circular No. 1/2026:

  • New Reporting Channel: Accident reports must now be submitted directly to the relevant State Tourism Director (instead of MOTAC headquarters).

  • New Form: The previous form (Appendix A) has been cancelled and replaced with the new Appendix I form.

  • Timeframe: The report must still be submitted within 24 hours from the time of the accident.

Please ensure you use the new Appendix I form format for any accident reporting moving forward.
