What action should be taken regarding ICT hardware (such as desktop computers or printers) in our Division that is broken, obsolete, or no longer in use?
Such hardware cannot be disposed of as domestic waste. Your Division must submit a request for a technical inspection to BPM for a Certificate of Disposal (Perakuan Pelupusan – PEP). BPM will evaluate whether the equipment qualifies for disposal in accordance with government movable asset management procedures (Refer to Treasury Circular AM 2.7).
