I received a suspicious email/SMS regarding assistance offers or license approvals using MOTAC’s name. How can I verify its authenticity?
MOTAC never requests sensitive personal information, passwords, or personal financial transactions via unofficial emails or messaging applications (SMS/WhatsApp). All official digital notifications from the ministry will exclusively use the official email domain @motac.gov.my. If you doubt the authenticity of any notification, please perform an immediate verification by contacting the MOTAC General Line or emailing kip.bpm@motac.gov.my.
