8 January 2025 – Please be informed that in accordance with Section 8 of the Tourism Industry Act 1992 [Act 482], the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) has decided to cancel the company license of Layang-Layang Island Resort Sdn. Bhd. [199101018586] (228897-D) with license number 2992 effective from 6 January 2025.
MOTAC views seriously any violation of legal provisions by licensed tourism enterprises in order to safeguard the welfare and interests of the people of Madani Malaysia.
