Integrity Unit

FUNCTIONS

  1. To implement programs related to cultural and integrity based on the Organizational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2020 – 2025 and Strengthening of the Public Service Integrity (PIPA) through collaboration with The Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) among the staffs of MOTAC.
  2. To plan and prepare appropriate modules/lessons of integrity courses in workshops/ seminars/ talks and briefings.
  3. To report necessary issue to National Anti-Corruption Committee (JAR) meetings and the meetings of the Cabinet Special Committee on Anti-Corruption (JKKMAR).
  4. Conduct regulatory compliance inspections at State Offices/Divisions/Departments/Agencies under MOTAC and monitor compliance with applicable regulations.
  5. To receive and take action on complaints/information regarding criminal misconduct or violations of organizational ethics.
  6. To report criminal misconduct to the responsible enforcement agency.
  7. Conducting investigations into complaints involving misconduct.
  8. To implement programs related to the culture and strengthening of integrity based on the Organizational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2020 – 2024 and the Strengthening of Public Service Integrity (PIPA) through collaboration with the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) among MOTAC employees.
  9. Recommend improvements to work regulations and procedures through the Ministry’s Anti-Corruption Committee (JAR) Meeting chaired by the Secretary-General of MOTAC.
  10. To report necessary issue to National Anti-Corruption Committee (JAR) meetings and the meetings of the Cabinet Special Committee on Anti-Corruption (JKKMAR).
  11. To perform the secretarial functions of the Disciplinary Board in accordance to conducting disciplinary procedure.
  12. To provide advisory services on discipline to the department/ agency.


CLIENT CHARTER

COMPLAINTS MANAGEMENT
To issue an acknowledgement of the complaint made within three (3) working days.

DISCIPLINARY
Settle the disciplinary case within 6 month from the date of the completed information is obtained.
