This statement addresses the feedback from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) regarding a memorandum submitted by nine tourism associations concerning the impact of rising diesel prices on tour bus operators . MOTAC has initiated engagement sessions with the industry and held discussions with the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to evaluate practical support measures . However, as the required diesel consumption data and cost comparisons have yet to be received from operators, industry players are strongly urged to submit these documents immediately . This data is crucial to enable the government to accurately assess actual costs and formulate targeted, fair, and effective assistance or tax incentives .
