Implementation of License Whitening Program
  1. The implementation period of the Whitening Program is from 15 January to 28 February 2022 only. This program is open to tour operators, tour guides and travel agencies that have tourism vehicle operations (Sabah, Sarawak and the Federal Territory of Labuan only) who are eligible;
  2. Tour operators and tour guides whose licenses, including additional licenses and tourist vehicle permits, have expired from 1 January 2020 until now will be considered for renewal approval. Applications for renewal of licenses are subject to the Guidelines for Renewal of Existing Licenses; and
  3. Tour operator licenses, tour guides and tourist vehicle permits that have expired before 1 January 2020 are not eligible to renew their licenses during this whitening period and will be removed from MOTAC’s list and records and will be uploaded to the official MOTAC website for the information of all parties.
