It is hereby notified that in accordance with section 8 of the Tourism Industry Act 1992 [Act 482], the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) has decided to suspend the license of Hejira Travel & Tours Holding Sdn. Bhd. 202201041341(1487038-K) (License No. : MOTAC L/N/10723) effective from 28 February 2025 until 31 August 2025.
2. During the period of license suspension, the Company shall —
(i) complete all trips that have been booked/paid for and do not enter into any new transactions including not advertising package sales; and
(ii) immediately return the payment and any documents belonging to the Umrah pilgrims that have been taken from the pilgrims who choose to cancel the booking.
MOTAC views seriously any violation of legal provisions by licensed tourism enterprises in order to safeguard the welfare and interests of civil Malaysians.
