The suspension of the Company’s licence is in accordance with the Tourism Industry Act 1992 [Act 482] under paragraph 8(1)(a) which is “the licensed tourism undertaking has failed to comply with any obligation imposed on it by or under this Act”; paragraph 8(1)(b) which is “the licensed tourism undertaking has contravened any condition imposed under the licence, any provision of this Act or any other written law, notwithstanding that no prosecution has been brought for an offence in respect of such contravention”; paragraph 8(1)(d) which is “the licensed tourism undertaking is carrying on its business in a manner prejudicial to the interests of the public, the tourism industry or the national economy”; and paragraph 8(1)(g) which is “a winding-up order has been made against the licensed tourism undertaking or a resolution for its voluntary winding-up has been passed”.
During the period of this license suspension, the Company shall not transact any new business. The Company shall immediately refund any monies paid by the client in respect of the booking and shall not charge any cancellation fees. If the Company is found to be in breach of this condition, action may be taken to revoke the license and/or no renewal of the license will be permitted after the expiration of the license period.
