Malaysia reaffirmed its commitment to driving a progressive and forward-looking regional socio-cultural agenda through its participation in the 35th ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Council Meeting in Manila. A primary focus was placed on translating regional commitments into tangible outcomes that directly benefit people’s well-being, social protection systems, and inclusive community development. Through four proposed strategic levers, Malaysia aims to strengthen unity and sustainable prosperity in line with Malaysia MADANI values and the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
