Ministry of Tourism's response to the 'distress' stress ball article - Amerjit Singh

APRIL 21 - Your news article, Malaysians take to the Internet to ridicule Tourism Ministry's 'distress' stress ball on 14 April 2015 refers.

1. For your information, the stress balls produced in 2006, were meant to be given as souvenir items. Nevertheless, due to the miss-spelling, a verbal apology was made and the stress balls were recalled immediately in 2006 as well.

2. As a follow-through measure, all written messages in collaterals produced by the Ministry are carefully checked to ensure that such typo-error will not recur.

We thank you for your concern and look forward to your assistance in continue promoting Malaysia as a preferred tourist destination.
