CLARIFICATION ON NEWS ARTICLE ON "NAZRI, DELEGATES ATE STALE FOOD" IN THE NEW STRAITS TIMES 5 APRIL 2015

The above news article in your newspaper refers.

2. It has been inaccurately reported that the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia, Dato' Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz has suffered severe food poisoning after a seafood meal in a fishing village in Umbai, Malacca on March 25. The Honourable Minister was not affected and he wishes to state that "I am perfectly well and have been carrying on with my duties as normal".

3. In addition, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia would like to reiterate that there were no reports of food poisoning from the ASEAN Ministers who attended the 13th ASEAN Socio Cultural Community Council Meeting held in Malacca. With regards to the dinner at Umbai, it was hosted by the Malacca State Government.
