PUTRAJAYA WINS OVERALL BEST FLOTILLA
FOR MAGIC OF THE NIGHT 2013

PUTRAJAYA, 30 June 2013 - Flotilla from Perbadanan Putrajaya is the winner of Overall Best Boat for the Magic of the Night 2013. Commencing since 22 June, Magic of the Night 2013 draws its curtain down tonight.

The prize-giving ceremony was graced by YB Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan bin Tengku Mansor, Minister of Federal Territories.

ABOUT MAGIC OF THE NIGHT 2013: COLOURS OF HARMONY

It was truly a Magic of the Night when a flotilla of 14 resplendent boats, decked with intricate motifs of popular tourism icons sailed gracefully along a 3-kilometre stretch of the scenic waterfront at the Putrajaya Lake, here.

Held for the third consecutive year by the Tourism and Culture Ministry in conjunction with the Perbadanan Putrajaya's Flower and Garden Festival, the Magic of the Night has been a signature event since 2011 and receives overwhelming response from both local and foreign visitors.

This event of international standing is aimed at introducing and promoting the diversity and richness of nature, culture and tradition of the country. In addition, it aims to cultivate environmentally friendly cultural activities, increase awareness and appreciation of the beauty of flora and fauna.
