FUNCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Review the reliability and effectiveness of the organization’s financial system and internal controls.<\/li>\n
  2. Review the level of compliance with all policies, laws, regulations and instructions in force.<\/li>\n
  3. To systematically study and evaluate the operations of the ministry to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness.<\/li>\n
  4. Review the organization’s assets and interests are protected from loss, fraud and abuse.<\/li>\n
  5. Provide advice \/ views on internal controls over all systems including ICT systems.<\/li>\n
  6. Report to Top Management on audit results and take follow-up action on matters raised.<\/li>\n
  7. Prepare the Annual Plan and Annual Internal Audit Report for approval by Senior Management.<\/li>\n
  8. Present the Internal Audit Report at the Audit Committee Meeting before presenting it at the Financial Management and Accounts Committee Meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    CLIENT CHARTER<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Conducting audits in a professional manner in accordance with the International Auditing Standards.<\/li>\n
    2. Issuing audit reports and audit observations that are independent, objective and accurate within one (1) month upon the completion of the audit.<\/li>\n
    3. Prepare the Audit Plan no later than 31st January and the Annual Reports of the Internal Audit Unit by 31st March the following year.<\/li>\n
    4.
